📋 Description

• Assess client current states and translate business and operational challenges into Azure landing zones, migration waves, or agentic platforms • Lead junior and mid-level consultants by setting technical direction, reviewing work, unblocking delivery, and developing consultants • Shape engagements with account teams by scoping workstreams, defining deliverables, estimating effort, and keeping delivery on plan • Build client relationships and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities • Serve as senior technical voice in client steering and working sessions • Lead Azure discovery and assessment engagements, including architecture reviews, workload and application inventories, dependency mapping, and cloud readiness assessments • Design and deploy enterprise-scale Azure landing zones aligned to the Cloud Adoption Framework • Plan and execute Azure migrations using workload assessment, right-sizing, migration wave sequencing, cutover runbooks, and post-migration validation • Establish hybrid and cross-premises connectivity using ExpressRoute, VPN gateways, and DNS strategies • Own cost governance and FinOps practices, including budgets, alerts, tagging, reserved instances, savings plans, and showback or chargeback reporting • Design and deploy network-isolated Microsoft Foundry environments with private endpoints, private DNS, subnet delegation, managed identity, RBAC, and customer-managed keys • Establish Copilot Studio governance, including environment strategy, DLP baselines, connector governance, generative AI settings, channel approval flows, and licensing/capacity guidance • Build GitHub Actions promotion pipelines with automated tests, evaluation thresholds, and human approval gates • Implement evaluation and safety frameworks with golden datasets, quality, retrieval, and safety evaluators in CI • Develop agents using the Foundry SDK (Python) and Copilot Studio and establish pipeline-based ALM • Advise on model selection and placement across the Foundry catalog, including OpenAI and Anthropic models, considering data residency, in-region inference, and cost • Author design documents, as-builts, build guides, technical roadmaps, and runbooks • Run workshops, enablement sessions, and office hours for client makers, developers, and administrators • Prepare review packages and evidence for client AI governance boards and maintain decision registers

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in engineering or technical consulting, including 5+ years delivering Azure infrastructure, landing zones, or migrations, and at least 18 months delivering GenAI or agent systems to production • Experience leading small consulting or engineering teams on client work, including assigning and reviewing work, mentoring junior consultants, and accountability for engagement outcomes • Ability to frame ambiguous client problems into concrete architectures, including platform choice, data boundaries, and governance path to production • Hands-on delivery of Cloud Adoption Framework landing zones, Azure Migrate-based discovery and migration, hub-spoke or Virtual WAN network design, and workload right-sizing at enterprise scale • Hands-on design and implementation across Azure compute, storage, networking, databases, containers, identity, and security, including VNets, private endpoints, private DNS, managed identities, Entra ID, and RBAC • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Foundry account and project model, current azure-ai-projects Python SDK, versioned agent deployments, model catalog management, and Azure AI Search for retrieval in isolated environments • Hands-on experience building Copilot Studio agents with generative orchestration, environment administration, DLP and connector governance, agent identity, and solution-based ALM with the pac CLI • Infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM; GitHub Actions workflows with environments, protection rules, and OIDC federation to Azure • Ability to design evaluation datasets and thresholds for evaluation-driven agent delivery • Consulting-grade communication, including executable design documents and technical roadmaps and ability to explain and defend technical decisions to executives, security teams, and governance boards
