📋 Description

• Design, build, operationalize, secure, and monitor data processing systems • Create robust automated pipelines to ingest and process structured and unstructured data using batch and streaming mechanisms • Implement custom applications using Kinesis, Lambda, and other cloud-native tools for streaming use cases • Engineer and support SQL and NoSQL data structures • Engineer and maintain ELT processes for loading data lakes using Snowflake, Cloud Storage, and Hadoop • Engineer APIs for returning data to enterprise applications • Deliver testable, maintainable, and modern data solutions using appropriate tools • Respond to customer and team inquiries and troubleshoot challenges • Collaborate with scrum team members to estimate and deliver sprint work • Research data questions, identify root causes, and work with business users and technical resources • Perform strategic planning and hands-on engineering of Big Data and cloud environments • Present to leadership and lead projects • Design and implement data pipelines enabling analytics and machine learning

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional technical experience • 4+ years of hands-on Data Architecture and Data Modelling • 4+ years of experience building highly scalable data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake • 4+ years of programming experience, including Python • 2+ years of experience working in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure) • Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases • Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehouses, data lakes, OLAP, Linux, Windows, and Git
