📋 Description

• Individual will work in a team performing functional, relay and SCADA testing in utility level substations. • Equipment acceptance testing, Relay and protection scheme testing, SCADA system testing, troubleshooting and problem solving issues as they arise. • Equipment inspections at vendors facilities. • Individual will have strong communication skills. • Ability to professionally represent the Company with clients, owners, vendors and subcontractors • Push issues to resolution • Self motivated • Excellent ability to understand technical drawings & ability to understand specifications. • Capability and inclination to research and self-teach unfamiliar subject matter. • Perform switching and grounding in energized substations.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Associate's degree in Electrical Technology/Engineering preferred or equivalent experience in industry (5+ years). • Experience (3-5 years) working in or preferably testing substation equipment. • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (NFPA, IEEE, NETA, etc.) • Understanding of applicable testing for equipment types noted above. • Strong computer skills in MS Office, SEL, TapTalk, Doble, RTS, Adobe and others as needed. • Clean driving record • Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials up to 60 lbs. • Must be able to work in elevated positions. • May be exposed to energized equipment. • OSHA 10 hour • NFPA 70E Training • FA/CPR Training
