📋 Description

• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to understand people-related business problems and gather relevant people data • Apply statistical models and data science methodologies to analyze recruiting, hiring, promotion, retention, pay equity, productivity, and organizational effectiveness • Translate data and insights into visualizations and stories that drive strategy, action, and decision-making • Align research priorities with business priorities while maintaining a customer-focused stakeholder approach • Lead compensation analytics informing Total Rewards decisions on pay, compensation structure, and talent awards • Partner with Employment Legal and Total Rewards on legally sensitive compensation analyses • Lead the design and measurement of Airbnb's quality-of-hire metric with Recruiting • Own sensitive statutory and governance reporting • Use AI, including AirPanda and LLM-based agents, to accelerate analysis, prototyping, and synthesis • Teach and contribute to advancing data science, people analytics, and Airbnb

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience • Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field • Deep experience with causal inference on observational data • Experience with quasi-experimental research design and analysis • Proficiency in R or Python for statistical analysis • Proficiency in SQL for data access • Familiarity with survey design and analysis • Experience applying data science to compensation, recruiting, or broader workforce and organizational questions • Experience working with legally sensitive data • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to cross-functional partners of varying technical levels and drive impact • Experience working with large practical datasets • Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity
