• Plan scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance for the assigned fleet • Compile information and build and prepare work packages for assigned aircraft, M facilities, maintenance bases and/or Part 145 repair stations • Manage maintenance plans to achieve a 95% inspection/task yield rate • Coordinate scheduling of time-controlled parts and repetitive inspections with component planning • Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehousing and the AOG Buyer to ensure required parts, tooling and components are available • Ensure pre-planned parts and tooling requisitions are completed on time and within SOP requirements • Participate in coordination and pre-dock meetings with Part 145 repair stations for heavy maintenance planning • Schedule compliance work for EOs, EAS and FCDs issued by Engineering • Coordinate manpower and tooling availability with M facility leads and Part 145 repair station management; adjust work packages as necessary • Conduct weekly planning meetings with area/region • Schedule MEL deferrals, including materials and tooling support • Prepare weekly base task listings for line and base planning • Assist mechanics and vendor repair stations with Ramco and Air Vault data entry to close out work • Audit completed work packages, transfer deferred work, ensure package closure, and notify management of discrepancies, delays or issues • Plan workloads to expedite maintenance and repair of the assigned aircraft fleet • No supervisory responsibilities
• High school diploma or GED and 3 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • 1 year of aviation maintenance operations planning experience preferred • 3–5 years of Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) experience • Airframe and Powerplant License or equivalent military experience preferred • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 135 and Part 145 • Part 135 maintenance program experience • Ability to manage fluctuating priorities based on unforeseen process and resource challenges, defined projects and leadership prerogatives • Experience planning work assignments, schedules and reviewing work in progress • Ability to collaborate with various departments to develop statements of work, schedules and procedures • Knowledge of maintenance planning and maintenance record-keeping software • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access • Regular scheduled attendance • Willingness/ability to travel approximately 2%
