📋 Description

• Lead discovery sessions with customer stakeholders to identify business challenges, data and governance gaps, and AI automation opportunities • Prototype and validate AI agent solutions using Alation’s configuration-first platform • Define KPIs and data-backed value measures linking technical work to customer outcomes • Architect scalable, maintainable configuration-first solutions across customer ecosystems • Own complex deployment delivery across workstreams, stakeholders, and system integrations from discovery through consumption • Drive enablement, workflow integration, governance reinforcement, and change plans to embed solutions • Facilitate high-impact workshops and decisions across conflicting stakeholder goals • Manage scope, risk, and interdependencies proactively across workstreams • Provide structured product feedback to improve the platform and delivery playbooks • Contribute to Executive Business Reviews by presenting outcomes and impact with supporting data • Identify expansion opportunities and partner with the account team • Create reusable patterns, accelerators, and playbooks for other Deployment Strategists

🎯 Requirements

• 6 years in management consulting (strategy, operations, tech) or forward-deployed solution roles at data platform companies • Hands-on experience with data; SQL is essential • Familiarity with Python, APIs, and modern data architectures • Ability to read code, work in SQL, and build in low/no-code platforms • Ability to work effectively with technical teams without writing production software • Strong communication skills and presence with Director/Sr. Director-level stakeholders • Demonstrated track record of building and deploying low/no-code solutions from prototype to production • Strong problem-solving ability across workstreams, systems, and stakeholders • Working understanding of AI agent patterns, LLMs, data governance, and metadata management preferred • Technical undergraduate or graduate program preferred; advanced degree such as MBA or technical Master’s is a plus • Ability to travel for customer and prospect onsite visits approximately 15–30%
