📋 Description

• Handle a high-volume caseload involving creditors’ rights and real estate litigation matters • Draft pleadings • Conduct legal research • Manage discovery • Support motion practice and case progression from inception through resolution • Proactively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software to manage assigned matters • Make court appearances and undertake attendant travel • Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams across multiple jurisdictions • Provide superior client care and proactive communication • Mentor and collaborate with team members

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar • Active membership of the South Carolina Bar is required • 8+ years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ rights practice • Willingness and ability to proactively use the Firm’s case management and reporting software • Strong foundation in civil procedure, motions practice, and loss mitigation • Knowledge of Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and creditors’ rights practice generally • Court appearances and some attendant travel required • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and mentoring • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills • Commitment to superior client support and sound judgment
