📋 Description

• Build agent patterns, retrieval systems, and guardrails for agentic assistants serving Alight participants • Develop an MCP server and skills registry for AI coding agents in the IDE • Create reusable LangGraph agent patterns for multi-agent orchestration, memory, tool-use safety, and guardrails • Build an agent evaluation platform using DeepEval and Ragas with CI/CD quality gates • Develop document ingestion and retrieval pipelines with chunking, embeddings, vector search, reranking, and citations • Automate CI/CD and AWS deployment for AI agents using ECS, Fargate, and Agent Core • Create AI-enabled devcontainers with integrated tooling, validation, and testing • Instrument production workloads with OpenTelemetry and build dashboards for LLM cost and token tracking • Convert governance controls into pipeline checks with automated evidence collection • Implement semantic caching, rate limiting, and graceful degradation for agent workloads • Produce reference implementations, SDK and CLI tooling, documentation, and reusable developer resources • Build the AI engineering platform powering AI delivery across Alight’s benefits, health, wealth, wellbeing, navigation, and absence-management ecosystem

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Python 3.10+ • Working knowledge of AWS core services, including IAM, ECS/Fargate, and networking • Comfort in cloud-native environments • Version control with Git/GitHub • Code review, testing, documentation, and clean-code practices • Security awareness, including secrets, permissions, and data protection • Expertise in at least one of: AI agent development; data and retrieval engineering; quality and evaluation; platform and infrastructure; observability and operations; developer experience • Must have work authorization in the employing country that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship • Successful completion of a background check contingent on an offer • Ability to participate in video interviews; camera-on culture
