Alkami Technology is a digital banking software company that provides a cloud-based Digital Sales & Service Platform for banks and credit unions. Its platform combines onboarding and account opening (via MANTL), digital banking, and data & marketing solutions to enable anticipatory, data-driven customer experiences, faster account origination, fraud protection, payment reporting, and personalized marketing. Alkami serves financial institutions (retail and business customers) and offers integrations, developer tools, and implementation support to drive deposit growth, reduce churn, and improve operational efficiency.

📋 Description

• Own complex revenue streams by analyzing contracts, determining revenue recognition treatment, and applying ASC 606 • Analyze customer contracts, performance obligations, transaction prices, and revenue timing across multi-element arrangements • Prepare and review revenue recognition schedules, deferred revenue, contract assets, and liabilities • Resolve complex revenue accounting issues using technical guidance and sound judgment • Develop and document technical accounting memos • Design, execute, and maintain SOX internal controls over revenue processes • Advise Sales, Legal, and cross-functional teams on contract structuring • Lead revenue-related close activities and validate reported results • Improve revenue processes through automation and standardization • Support internal and external audits as a subject matter expert • Analyze revenue trends and variances and provide actionable insights • Review reconciliations and validate system-generated revenue outputs • Standardize revenue accounting methodologies, documentation, and controls • Support system implementations and enhancements • Assess the impact of new accounting standards and ensure proper adoption

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in revenue accounting, technical accounting, or public accounting • Significant exposure to ASC 606 and complex contract analysis in a SaaS or similar environment • Advanced knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles • Strong experience analyzing complex customer contracts and multi-element arrangements • Expertise in deferred revenue and contract balances • Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls over financial reporting • Proficiency with ERP systems and revenue subledger tools such as NetSuite or similar • Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large and complex datasets • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with sound judgment • Effective communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills • Experience leveraging automation or AI tools to improve financial processes • CPA certification strongly preferred • Experience in SaaS or financial technology environments desired • Background in Big 4 or public accounting desired • Experience with RevPro or Zuora desired • Experience supporting system implementations or large-scale process improvements desired • Must be eligible to work in the US for full-time employment • Alkami cannot offer employment sponsorship
