📋 Description

• Lead and contribute to computer software systems across the full design and development lifecycle • Deliver highly scalable, available, and fault-tolerant production applications • Prevent, investigate, triage, and resolve production issues and on-call escalations • Build architecture designs, influence the product roadmap, and own new projects • Lead code and design reviews • Code, debug, and develop functional applications • Identify system bottlenecks and optimize performance • Lead developers and collaborate with designers and product owners on new features • Modernize legacy applications using cutting-edge technologies • Gather and address technical and design requirements • Configure environments, maintain them, and monitor system health • Provide training and support to internal teams • Mentor others, lead sprint planning, delegate assignments, and participate in project planning as a Technical Team Lead • Introduce and enhance tools for service automation and operability • Interface with customers and business stakeholders to deliver software products • Establish and maintain engineering organization standards • Respond promptly to on-call incidents and resolve critical disruptions to minimize downtime • Drive AI-assisted engineering strategies, developer workflow optimization, modernization initiatives, and prompt/context engineering standards

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of related software development experience, or 8 years and an advanced degree • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another related field, or equivalent work experience • Mandatory marketing technology (MarTech) experience, specifically cookies and platform integrations • Backend development with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Hibernate • Python limited to basic scripting • AWS expertise, specifically EKS, Cognito, and batch jobs • Experience with Vue.js or React and leading modernization efforts from AngularJS • In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle: design, development, and deployment • Exceptional experience developing and deploying applications for cloud-native infrastructure • Experience building microservices with an API-first mindset • Ability to collaborate within an agile framework • Advanced experience with Kubernetes • Advanced experience with OpenTelemetry • Proven ability to plan and lead complex technical projects across multiple teams • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated technical input • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation • Ability to lift 5–10 pounds unassisted and perform required physical movements • Must be eligible to work in the US for full-time employment; employment sponsorship is unavailable • Master’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field preferred • Experience with SaaS offerings in technology and financial industries preferred • Experience building and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services preferred
