📋 Description

• Investigate basic and occasionally moderately complex auto insurance claims • Handle non-represented claims • Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages • Determine liability and negotiate settlements • Work directly with claimants, insureds, witnesses, and other involved parties • Ensure timely, accurate, and customer-focused claim resolution • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards throughout the claim lifecycle • Investigate minor to moderately complex auto accidents • Prepare clear, concise claim summaries • Conduct recorded statements • Negotiate and settle claims according to established guidelines and best practices • Maintain detailed claim files, notes, summaries, and decision rationale • Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient claim handling

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in LA, TX, AR, FL, GA, AL, or MS at the time of hire • 2+ years of prior claim handling experience preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail • Critical-thinking and decision-making skills • Comfortable using technology and learning claims-related software and tools • Adjuster licenses required for the role must be obtained within 60 days of hire • Must maintain all required licenses, continuing education, and state-affiliated renewal requirements • Dedicated private workspace in the residence, free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up • Appropriate work surface and seating • Must submit to a background investigation • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas • Position unavailable to residents of California, Alaska, Washington, and Hawaii
