📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney/litigation involvement • Handle moderate represented files for Florida • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Communicate with customers and attorneys via voice calls, email, and text messages • Negotiate fair injury settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Review damage and interpret policies to determine coverage • Keep customers updated and accommodate their communication preferences • Apply legal and business-standard claims-handling methodologies • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Complete timely and accurate claim documentation in the claims system • Protect the company financially by executing policies according to policy agreements

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of Florida represented third-party bodily injury claim handling experience • Knowledge of Florida tort reform • Florida 6-20 All Lines Adjuster License (Property & Casualty) • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of tools and platforms for claims evaluation • Home office in the United States; not available to California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Washington residents • Dedicated private home workspace free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up • Appropriate work surface and seating • Background investigation required • Must terminate existing insurance appointments and not hold outside appointments during employment if currently licensed • Active resident producer license holders must surrender that license when instructed • Allstate generally does not sponsor employment-based visas for this position
