📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney/litigation involvement • Handle claims primarily in California and Northwest states • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Provide customer service throughout the claims process • Communicate with customers and attorneys via voice calls, email, and text messages • Negotiate fair injury settlements with all involved parties • Perform detailed damage reviews and interpret policies to determine coverage • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and video chat • Evaluate and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Complete timely and accurate claim documentation in the claims system • Protect the company financially by executing policies according to policy agreements

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of Casualty 100% Litigation third-party claim handling experience required • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate and negotiate injury claims • Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for effective claims evaluation • California candidates will be considered • As a condition of employment, may be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire • Required to pass a background investigation • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
