📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney or litigation involvement • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Provide customer service throughout the claims process • Communicate with customers and attorneys through voice calls, email, and text messages • Use platforms and tools to negotiate fair and timely injury settlements • Perform detailed damage reviews and interpret policies to determine coverage • Keep customers updated on claim progress using their preferred communication method • Evaluate and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Apply legal and business-standard methodologies and negotiation tactics for challenging and complex situations • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Complete timely and accurate documentation in the claims system • Protect the company financially by executing policies according to policy agreements

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in the Eastern or Central time zones • Must reside in the United States • 3+ years of moderate/complex bodily injury claim handling experience • Prior represented or litigation third-party casualty claim handling experience preferred • New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania bodily injury claims experience preferred • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of tools and platforms for claims evaluation • Must provide a dedicated private home office free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB download/5 MB upload • Must have appropriate work surface and seating • Must submit to a background investigation • Adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire, if applicable • Active insurance license holders must terminate existing appointments and cannot hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
