📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles, property damage, and bodily injury with attorney involvement • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Communicate with customers and attorneys via voice calls, email, text messages, and sometimes video chat • Negotiate fair injury claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Handle primarily litigated claims in Georgia • Perform detailed damage reviews and interpret policies to determine coverage • Apply legal and business-standard claim-handling methodologies • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Document claim activity accurately and promptly in the claims system • Provide empathetic customer service and keep customers updated on claim progress

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of previous 3rd Party Bodily Injury Claims handling experience required • 2–5 years of current Georgia claims experience required • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of tools and platforms for claims evaluation • Home office in the United States; not available to California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Washington residents • Dedicated private workspace free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up • Appropriate work surface and seating • Background investigation required • Allstate generally does not sponsor employment-based visas • Adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire, if applicable
