📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney/litigation involvement • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Provide customer service throughout the claims process • Communicate with customers and attorneys via voice calls, email, and text messages • Negotiate fair injury settlements with all involved parties • Perform detailed damage reviews and interpret policies to determine coverage • Use phone, email, and video chat to support customers and provide claim updates • Evaluate and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Apply legal and business-standard methodologies and negotiation tactics in challenging, complex situations • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Document claim activity accurately and timely in the claims system • Protect company finances by following policy agreements

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of Casualty Represented or Litigation third-party claim handling experience required • California and/or Northwest or Southwest States Casualty Claim handling experience preferred • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for claims evaluation • Candidates in the Pacific time zone preferred; Mountain and Central time zone candidates considered if willing to work 8 am–4:30 pm PST or 9 am–5:30 pm PST • Position unavailable to Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, or Puerto Rico residents • Successful background investigation required • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire, if applicable
