📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney or litigation involvement • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Provide customer service throughout the claims process • Communicate with customers and attorneys through voice calls, email, and text messages • Negotiate fair injury settlements with all involved parties • Perform detailed damage reviews and interpret policies to determine coverage • Evaluate and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Handle challenging and complex negotiations using legal and business standard methodologies • Use estimate tools, job aids, settlement platforms, and other claims tools • Document claims work accurately and timely in the claims system • Protect the company financially by executing policies according to policy agreements • Keep customers updated on claim progress and offer preferred communication channels

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of Casualty Represented or Litigation UM/UIM claim handling experience required • Candidates with experience in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina a plus • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for claims evaluation • Must submit to a background investigation • May be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire if applicable; license acquisition is not stated as required before hiring • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas
