📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles with property damage and/or bodily injury involving attorneys or litigation • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Provide customer service through voice calls, email, and text messages • Use innovative platforms and tools to negotiate fair and timely injury settlements • Handle a high volume of pending cases • Investigate casualty claims through detailed damage reviews and policy interpretation • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat • Evaluate and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Apply legal and business-standard claim-handling methodologies • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Document claims accurately and timely in the claims system • Protect the company financially by executing policies according to policy agreements

🎯 Requirements

• Prior represented third-party casualty claim handling experience required • OH or CT claims experience highly preferred • 2–5 years of moderate/complex bodily injury claim handling experience preferred • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently • Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, liability determination, and state regulations • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of tools and platforms for claims evaluation • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency is a plus • Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zones • May be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire • Required to submit to a background investigation • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating • Position unavailable to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico • Allstate generally does not sponsor employment-based visas for this position
