📋 Description

• Investigate moderately complex, unrepresented UM/UIM, bodily injury, physical property damage, ICST, and applicable CPL claims • Take recorded statements and perform detailed reviews of damage • Interpret policies to determine coverage and liability • Resolve loss-of-use claims and make payments to appropriate parties • Negotiate and settle bodily injury claims, or refer unresolved issues • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat, providing claim updates and honoring communication preferences • Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to evaluate claims • Maintain timely and accurate claim documentation in the claims system

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of claims adjusting experience • Uninsured/Underinsured Bodily Injury Claim handling, a plus • Bodily Injury claim handling, a plus • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone, to establish rapport and assess claims accurately • Ability to work independently and remotely, while managing time efficiently • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate and negotiate injury claims successfully • Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for effective claims evaluation • May require obtaining an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, if applicable • Background investigation required • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, with appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet required, with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Position not available to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, or Hawaii • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
