📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney/litigation involvement • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Provide customer service throughout the claims process • Communicate with customers and attorneys through voice calls, email, text messages, and sometimes video chat • Use platforms and tools to evaluate claims • Negotiate fair injury settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, claimants, and attorneys • Review damage details and interpret policies to determine coverage • Apply claim-handling methodologies in challenging and complex situations • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Execute policies according to policy agreements • Maintain clear and accurate claim records • Complete timely documentation in the claims system • Work Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. CST

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in the Central or Eastern time zones • Must reside in the United States • 2+ years of represented third-party bodily injury claim handling experience • Texas casualty claim handling experience • Proficient communication skills, especially by phone • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of tools and platforms for claims evaluation • Home office with a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up • Appropriate work surface and seating • Must submit to a background investigation • Adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire, if applicable • Individuals holding an active insurance license must terminate existing appointments and cannot hold outside appointments during employment • Allstate generally does not sponsor employment-based visas for this position
