📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles with property damage, bodily injury, attorney involvement, or litigation • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Provide customer service and empathetic guidance throughout the claims process • Communicate with customers and attorneys through voice calls, email, and text messages • Negotiate fair injury settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Manage multiple diverse venues with varying operational demands and stakeholder expectations • Serve as the primary claim contact and guide insureds through the process • Collaborate with internal partners to assess and drive value across initiatives • Perform detailed damage reviews and interpret policies to determine coverage • Document claim work accurately and promptly in the claims system • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Work schedules vary by Pacific, Mountain, and Central time zones

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones • Residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are not eligible • Minimum 2 years' experience in bodily injury claims handling or a related field • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently • Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for claims evaluation • Dedicated private workspace free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up • Appropriate work surface and seating • May be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire • Must submit to a background investigation • Must terminate existing insurance-license appointments and not hold outside appointments during employment, if applicable • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas
