📋 Description

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for automobile accidents • Determine coverage, liability, and damages • Adjust and negotiate claims within authority • Support claims in Michigan and New Jersey • Gather and analyze facts related to each loss • Manage claims from initial report through final resolution • Partner to determine subrogation or fraud potential and appropriate handling • Handle basic investigations regarding coverage, liability, and damages • Identify customer needs and address them using appropriate customer service skills • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zone states • Must possess authorization to work in the United States • National General does not sponsor individuals for work visas • Individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions • Appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Basic understanding of systems and technology used within the company • Basic understanding of insurance policies, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships • Ability to investigate auto claims involving coverage, liability, and damages • Ability to recognize vehicle body parts and potential property damage • Customer service, investigative, organizational, prioritization, multitasking, and time-management skills
