📋 Description

• Design end-to-end conversational experiences for IVR, chat, and agentic AI • Oversee the conversational AI design process across multidisciplinary teams and educate UX designers on cross-disciplinary collaboration • Apply human-centered design methods to frame problems, uncover patterns, discover opportunities, visualize concepts, and create interactive voice and chat prototypes • Clarify ambiguous problems and deliver clear flows, messaging, and handoffs • Create scripts, flow diagrams, prototypes, and interaction maps using Figma, Mural, Visio, and Voiceflow • Partner with product, engineering, and other teams through implementation • Plan and conduct iterative evaluations and use findings to improve clarity and task success • Review performance indicators and customer feedback to identify improvements • Incorporate accessibility, privacy, and compliance considerations • Communicate design rationale, build alignment, and support decision-making across cross-functional teams • Manage priorities, timelines, and scope across multiple workstreams with minimal oversight • Contribute to shared design standards, patterns, and team processes • This job does not have supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience designing for IVR, chat, and agentic AI • Skilled in writing clear conversational prompts, messages, and system responses • Ability to translate requirements into flows, scripts, prototypes, and documentation • Proficiency with Visio, Voiceflow, Mural, or comparable tools • Ability to collaborate with product and engineering partners to navigate technical constraints • Understanding of accessibility, privacy, and compliance considerations in conversational systems • Strong communication, facilitation, organization, and time management skills • Experience designing within complex transactional systems and supporting seamless escalation or handoff experiences • 3 or more years of experience (Preferred) • Successful completion of a background investigation required • Must have a dedicated, private workspace when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
