📋 Description

• Leverage data and analytics to answer moderately complex questions and influence business strategy • Develop standards of practice around data retrieval, data manipulation, data quality, data reporting, and data analytics • Coach and develop less experienced analysts • Communicate and present project information to the team and provide updates to management • Compile, clean, organize, and analyze moderately complex data to understand business results • Monitor and evaluate business initiatives against key performance indicators and communicate results and recommendations to management • Make business insights accessible to non-technical audiences • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for workforce and operational data • Partner with Workforce Planning, Operations, Reporting, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions • Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies, validate outputs, and resolve data issues • Produce visual analyses and executive-ready reporting on workload trends, staffing impacts, forecast performance, and operational drivers • Participate in cross-functional projects including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation, documentation, validation, and enhancement • Maintain documentation, job aids, data definitions, and standards of practice • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, analytics, data quality, and Workforce Management processes through automation and improved data models • Support technology outages and operational disruptions by evaluating impacts and communicating insights and recommendations • Balance recurring reporting and planning responsibilities with ad hoc analysis and project work

🎯 Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience (Preferred) • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Experience with data analysis and data analytics • Experience with Microsoft Excel • Experience with Microsoft Power BI / PBI and data visualization • Experience with MS SQL queries, SQL database queries, and Structured Query Language (SQL) • Must submit to a background investigation • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, with appropriate desk and seating when working from home • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
