📋 Description

• Investigate and evaluate homeowners property claims from start to finish • Confirm facts of loss, determine coverage, assess damages, and negotiate settlements within assigned authority • Manage the entire claim lifecycle, including supplements, Additional Living Expense claims, contents, and personal property losses • Work with customers, contractors, and other partners to handle claims accurately and efficiently • Deliver clear and timely customer communication throughout the claims process • Investigate all aspects of homeowners first-party claims, including coverage, damages, and subrogation • Handle claims with discretion and independence within increased authority • Partner with fraud and subrogation representatives when applicable • Identify residential construction and repair components, structural integrity, and home systems • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate service • Determine subrogation or fraud potential and appropriate handling • Apply broad knowledge of company insurance policies, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a Property Desk Adjuster • Proficiency in Xactimate • Strong foundation in claims handling, including supplements, Additional Living Expense (ALE), contents, and full claim ownership • Experience handling claims in both field and desk settings strongly preferred • Active adjuster license or a license qualifying for reciprocity in applicable states strongly preferred • Experience handling agricultural, farm, and ranch claims highly preferred • Strong organizational skills • Proactive approach • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment • Must terminate existing insurance appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed by the licensing team • Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Applicable active licenses needed for the licensing sign-on bonus, if claimed
