📋 Description

• Meet customers at their homes, repair shops, or tow yards • Write estimates and guide customers through the repair or total loss process • Conduct in-person visits and virtual inspections • Communicate with customers through phone, email, video chat, and written communication • Collaborate with body shops and service providers • Investigate casualty and applicable line-of-business claims • Review damage and interpret policies to determine coverage • Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Document claims accurately in the claims system • Maintain clear and timely claim records • Attend up to two weeks of in-person training at the Dallas, Texas office if required

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience in auto collision estimating using CCC or Mitchell • High School Diploma or GED • Proficient written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to write precise and comprehensive estimates • Comfortable utilizing technology and various platforms for claims processing • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Valid driver's license • Willingness to travel as part of the job requirements • Must be located in Rhode Island or Massachusetts • Adjuster's license may be required in multiple markets • Appraiser's license required in Rhode Island • All required licenses must be obtained within 60 days of hire • Must maintain all required licensing, including continuing education and state-affiliated renewal requirements • Background investigation required • Must have a dedicated, private home workspace with appropriate desk and seating when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
