📋 Description

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for homeowners claims • Determine coverage and damages • Adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits • Work independently and prioritize responsibilities • Partner with fraud and subrogation representatives on applicable claims • Handle homeowner first-party claims involving coverage, damages, and subrogation • Identify residential construction and repair components • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate customer service • Learn and determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle it • Conduct occasional in-person inspections to evaluate homeowner property claims • Perform no supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Experience and qualifications determine the applicable Inside Adjuster level and compensation • Prior experience handling residential homeowner claims highly preferred • Proficiency in Xactimate and XactAnalysis highly preferred • Ability to investigate and confirm facts of loss for homeowners claims • Ability to determine coverage, damages, subrogation, and fraud potential • Intermediate understanding of company and industry insurance policies • Ability to recognize key components of residential construction and repair • Basic understanding of company systems and technology • Active applicable insurance licenses may include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License for the sign-on bonus • Active insurance license holders must terminate existing appointments before onboarding and cannot hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed by the licensing team • Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
