📋 Description

• Handle escalated claims files involving complex contents • Conduct coverage investigations and ensure policies are applied correctly • Use advanced video technology to collaborate with onsite vendors, identify damages, and write contents damage estimates • Communicate empathetically with customers throughout the claim process • Negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Coordinate with structure adjusters for holistic claim handling • Use data and analytics to influence decision-making • Investigate property claims through detailed damage reviews and policy interpretation • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat and keep them updated • Use estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims • Execute policies according to policy agreements • Maintain clear claims-system records and timely, accurate documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience using estimating software like Xactimate for complex contents estimating • Previous experience handling property insurance claims • Experience managing 100+ inventory items per claim • Ability to provide an effortless customer service experience • Ability to develop creative solutions to problems and setbacks • Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Clear and professional written and verbal communication • Ability to work Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, with rotational Saturday duty • An adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required by the office/area; if applicable, license(s) must be secured within 60 days of hire • Applicants seeking an adjuster role who hold a resident producer license must surrender that license when instructed • Successful completion of a background investigation • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
