📋 Description

• Provide exceptional service to policyholders • Travel to customers' homes to conduct on-site inspections • Investigate coverage and property damage • Prepare estimates and settle claims promptly and efficiently • Handle virtual claims countrywide using platforms including Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration • Focus on fire and water losses • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat • Offer customers communication preferences and provide claim progress updates • Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims • Document claim work accurately and timely in the claims system • Protect the company financially by executing policies according to policy agreements • Attend approximately two weeks of training in Dallas, Texas

🎯 Requirements

• 4 years’ previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired • Experience handling claims with multiple trades and over $100,000 in losses • Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for estimating • Strong critical thinking and technical skills to assess damages accurately and expedite claims settlements • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to travel to customers' homes and handle virtual claims countrywide • Detail-oriented and organized • Residency within the posted location is mandatory • Must be able to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with up to a 6/12 pitch • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel • Individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed • May be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire • Required to pass a background investigation • Must maintain a dedicated, private home workspace • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • This position is not available for California, Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico residents • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
