📋 Description

• Own the administration, performance, availability, and security of mission-critical database environments • Lead administration and support of enterprise database platforms including SQL Server, MongoDB, MySQL/MariaDB, and PostgreSQL • Manage database installations, upgrades, patching, lifecycle management, and capacity planning • Monitor platform health and proactively optimize performance, reliability, and availability • Drive incident resolution, problem management, and operational excellence initiatives • Implement and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions • Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to design and optimize database architectures • Strengthen database security, access controls, and governance practices • Develop automation, monitoring solutions, and operational processes that improve scalability and efficiency • Support cloud and platform modernization efforts

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED • 8+ years of progressive database administration experience with Microsoft SQL Server • 2+ years of hands-on DBA experience with MongoDB, MySQL (or) MariaDB • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Passion for continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence • Curiosity to learn and adapt in a fast-moving technology environment
