📋 Description

• Investigate and analyze complex and occasionally highly complex, multi-discipline coverage and claims referred to the Special Investigation Unit for potential fraud • Handle complex attorney-represented and unrepresented claims, complex losses, and claims involving extra-contractual liability • Conduct background searches, scene investigations, and clinic inspections • Take recorded statements and conduct witness interviews • Review and analyze medical notes, bills, and property damage • Conduct social media searches and online data application searches • Determine whether fraud can be substantiated and support lawsuits • Make claim decisions and pursue restitution • Manage, research, and resolve complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts, or issues • Validate investigation information and follow up on possible leads • Use analytic tools or SIU field intelligence to identify claims and support evidence of fraud and damages • Summarize documents and enter claim system notes, evaluations, and decision-making processes • Enter SIU claim data into multiple SIU systems • Update files with investigation outcomes and return files to MCO when appropriate • Review fraud-outcome investigations to validate whether denial is appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of investigative experience (Preferred) • Background investigation required • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Appropriate desk and seating when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
