Allswell is an online, LGBTQ+ affirming mental health provider (Allswell Health PBC) that delivers trauma-informed individual therapy and peer group programs via video. It pairs licensed, rigorously trained therapists who are members of or experienced with the LGBTQ+ community with evidence-based approaches (eg, CBT, CPT, EMDR) and skills-building groups to treat identity-based trauma and related conditions. Allswell accepts Medicaid and many commercial insurance plans (and offers cash-pay options), uses HIPAA-compliant records, and currently serves Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia while expanding to more states.

📋 Description

• Provide individual and group clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians • Provide weekly individual and group clinical supervision • Supervise a caseload of 20–24 therapists, with individual supervision twice monthly • Lead 1–2 supervision groups per week • Review and sign off on clinical documentation, treatment plans, and diagnosis codes • Guide supervisees on LGBTQIA+-affirming mental health practices, gender-affirming care, trauma-informed practices, minority stress model application, and family/relationship dynamics • Support associates during clinical crises and high-risk client evaluations • Collaborate with Allswell leadership on clinical quality assurance, associate development, and state board licensing tracking • Carry a small client caseload to remain relevant and connected to supervisees’ work

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in Maryland (LCPC, LCSW-C) or Virginia (LPC, LCSW) • Formal Board-Approved Supervisor status with the relevant board in the licensing state(s), qualifying the candidate to supervise associate-level clinicians in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy • Minimum 2 years of experience providing direct clinical supervision • Demonstrated experience and clinical mastery in LGBTQIA+ mental health concerns, gender-affirming care protocols, and intersectional identity frameworks • Dual licensure across Maryland and Virginia highly preferred • Experience delivering tele-supervision within a digital health or multi-state group practice preferred • Experience serving LGBTQ+ clients, including BIPOC and neurodivergent clients preferred • Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or CPT • Ability to provide supervision to associate-level clinicians, including LGPC, LMSW, and Residents in Counseling • Ability to review and sign off on clinical documentation, treatment plans, and diagnosis codes in compliance with state board regulations and payor requirements
