• This is a full-time, 10-month faculty position for a program director and instructor in Bank Street’s Leadership Department. • The focus of this position will be Bank Street’s redesigned online Educational Leadership Program with pathways in Progressive Leadership and Early Childhood Leadership, with the potential to add other pathways. • Depending on the Leadership Department's needs, the individual hired for this position may also teach and/or advise in other Bank Street leadership programs. • Candidates must have expertise in early childhood and K-12 leadership, depth of experience teaching in early childhood or K-12, and school building leadership experience. • In addition, candidates should demonstrate a depth of knowledge and experience with progressive pedagogies for both children and adults.
• Masters in education or educational leadership, required • Experience with public, charter, independent, and /or international schools, preferred • Certification in school building leadership, preferred • Doctorate in education leadership or related field, preferred • Five or more years of school leadership experience, preferred • School district leadership experience, preferred • Experience working with NYCPS, preferred • Experience and demonstrated success teaching in higher education, preferred • Experience with program administration, preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Flexibility and adaptability. • Strong organizational and administrative skills. • Strong skills in collaboration and communication; and demonstrated experience building successful partnerships. • Curriculum development skills. • Instructional proficiency in online and / or hybrid formats.
