📋 Description

• Build Alpaca Health's end-to-end “how to open an ABA center” playbook • Advise on market and site selection • Advise on lease/LOI and tenant-improvement build-out • Advise on ABA-appropriate floor-plan and room design, including sensory-friendly environments • Guide payer credentialing/enrollment and licensing for new locations • Advise on equipment and vendor selection, including security, cameras, and access control • Advise on standardizing and financing equipment • Pressure-test site-intelligence and in-clinic product ideas • Advise on staffing ramp, room utilization, and center-based unit economics • Help avoid expansion outrunning BCBA/RBT hiring and fixed costs conflicting with reimbursement pressure • Coach provider partners through their own clinic launches over time • Partner directly with Alpaca Health's founding team to design the clinic-expansion program and product

🎯 Requirements

• Personally opened and scaled multiple center-based ABA clinics, or very adjacent multi-site pediatric therapy / behavioral health clinics • Experience with de novo clinic launches, not just running an existing site • Knowledge of the full stand-up lifecycle: real estate, build-out, licensing, credentialing, equipment, staffing, and utilization • Understanding of ABA / behavioral-health reimbursement, including Medicaid and commercial reimbursement • Understanding of staffing ratios and RBT/BCBA labor dynamics • BCBA or ABA clinical-ops leadership is a bonus • Multi-state expansion experience is a bonus • Relationships with ABA-focused healthcare real estate, general contractors, or equipment vendors are a bonus • Comfort with compliance-first arrangements, including fair-market-value, Anti-Kickback/Stark, and corporate-practice-of-medicine considerations, is a bonus • Ability to work as a 1099 independent contractor; own consultancy welcome
