📋 Description

• Support portfolio-level documentation for 30+ applications • Coordinate and collaborate with the government client • Assist teams with best practices around vulnerability remediation • Provide subject matter expertise on FDIC and NIST cybersecurity policies and frameworks • Support implementation and sustainment of security controls aligned with the NIST RMF • Assist system owners in maintaining system Authorization to Operate (ATO) status • Support Operations & Maintenance of 30+ applications • Support cloud migration initiatives and a breadth of technologies • Create and maintain SIAs, POA&Ms, SCAs, and continuous monitoring artifacts • Develop best practices for vulnerability remediation, prioritization, mitigation strategies, and countermeasures • Develop and maintain knowledge management across programs • Hold training sessions and office hours for project teams • Assist in identifying false positives from unused libraries or other findings • Hold monthly sessions with government clients to review documentation updates • Strengthen collaboration and information sharing across agency and external partners to reduce cybersecurity risk and improve resilience

🎯 Requirements

• Public Trust clearance required • US citizenship required • Minimum 10 years of overall experience • Hands-on Information System Security Officer (ISSO) experience • Experience with portfolio and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support preferred • Understanding of the full Risk Management Framework (RMF) process from start to finish • Experience working with Information Assurance (IA) controls • Experience using scanning tools • Experience supporting Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages • Knowledge of FS-191, operational directives, and compliance requirements • Knowledge of NIST RMF (SP 800-37) • Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 controls, Rev. 4 and Rev. 5 • Knowledge of CNSSI 1253 • Knowledge of security controls, ideally in a government setting • Experience supporting systems hosted in cloud environments preferred • Experience supporting systems in Agile and DevOps environments preferred • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent • CISSP, CASP, CISA, CEH, or CISM certifications desired
