📋 Description
• Serve as principal investigator or co-PI on education data systems research proposals • Design studies using state longitudinal data systems (SLDS) and linked K-12, postsecondary, and workforce records • Partner with state education agencies on data access, data-sharing agreements, and research use of data • Lead analysis, data security, privacy (FERPA), and human-subjects (IRB) protections • Write research narratives, methods, and dissemination plans • Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to WIL proposals when you authorize naming
🎯 Requirements
• Track record leading education research using administrative or longitudinal education data • Experience working with state education agencies or state longitudinal data systems • Strong quantitative skills (e.g., Stata, R, SAS, or Python) and causal or descriptive methods • Knowledge of FERPA, data-sharing agreements, and IRB processes • Comfortable as a project-based contract collaborator; remote US
