📋 Description

• Lead the strategy, architecture, engineering, and evolution of Salesforce and the broader revenue systems ecosystem • Build, develop, and grow a high-performing team of Salesforce engineers, architects, administrators, and technical professionals • Set standards for technical judgment, engineering quality, delivery, operational excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement • Establish modern Salesforce engineering and release practices, including source control, CI/CD, automated testing, environment management, and reliable deployment processes • Improve planning, building, releasing, and platform support using meaningful quality, reliability, and delivery metrics • Establish standards for development, documentation, observability, and operational support • Own Salesforce and revenue systems strategy, architecture, roadmap, and platform health • Define platform evolution while balancing business needs with scalability, reliability, security, data quality, and technical debt • Partner with leadership on priorities, strategy, tradeoffs, capacity, risks, and investment needs • Serve as senior technical leader and escalation point for complex platform, architecture, integration, and engineering challenges • Review and challenge solution designs and guide major technical decisions • Guide the balance between configuration and custom development and stay current on Salesforce and emerging technologies • Establish governance, controls, change management, access controls, separation of duties, auditability, documentation, and data quality • Ensure enterprise standards for security, reliability, compliance, and risk management • Lead AI adoption across Revenue Systems and Salesforce development • Scale AI use cases across development, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, administration, and team productivity • Establish AI guardrails while encouraging experimentation and AI-enabled ways of working

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology, systems engineering, platform engineering, or a related technical discipline, with significant experience in the Salesforce ecosystem • 5+ years leading Salesforce engineering, architecture, or administration teams • Track record of hiring, developing, and retaining strong technical talent • Ability to build and scale high performing teams and raise engineering quality, ownership, and delivery standards • Strong Salesforce platform knowledge across architecture, development, integrations, data, security, and automation • Experience with source control, CI/CD, automated testing, and environment management • Strong architectural judgment balancing business priorities with scalability, reliability, security, technical debt, and maintainability • Experience setting technology strategy and roadmaps across complex, cross functional business processes • Track record of adopting AI to improve engineering, development, operations, or team productivity • Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical teams, business leaders, and executive stakeholders • Pragmatic, high ownership leadership style with a bias toward action, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes • Nice to have: Salesforce transformation experience in a high growth or scaling organization • Nice to have: Pre-IPO experience with evolving SOX and compliance requirements • Nice to have: Experience leading teams through M&A, major platform consolidation, or organizational transformation • Nice to have: Experience integrating Salesforce with modern data, AI, and enterprise technology ecosystems
