📋 Description

• Develop and deliver complex healthcare, clinical, provider, and financial data sets • Act as an internal consultant supporting reporting, dashboards, data visualization, and data extracts • Develop reporting solutions and analytical methodologies for current and evolving business needs • Support the organization’s strategic aims and data-driven decision making • Partner with multi-faceted departments on business intelligence and analytics requirements • Perform data mining and extraction using electronic health record, eligibility, claims, and other data sources • Refine data collection and analytic procedures for business intelligence and decision support • Collect, analyze, interpret, and present comparative provider, member, clinical, and cost data • Integrate benchmark information • Identify, investigate, and communicate cost and utilization patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities to reduce total cost of care • Train team members and others on data, tools, solution processes, and business findings • Coordinate common practices, validation, and documentation according to company and industry standards • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in data analytics or related field • Demonstrated coursework in systems analysis, computer science, SQL, statistics, databases, or other related areas • 8+ years of experience working with data • Previous experience creating a variety of reports using a Business Intelligence or Analytics tool (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SQL Management Studio, Cognos, Tableau, PowerBI) • 8+ years of working knowledge and demonstrated usage of dimensional databases as a source of data for reporting • Preferred: Master’s Degree in computer science, business management, health or public administration, or related fields • Preferred: 8+ years working with managed care applications like GE Centricity, Epic, Cerner, etc. • External hires must pass a background check/drug screen
