📋 Description

• Support live DoD captures and proposals by developing concept-level technical solutions responding to solicitation requirements, evaluation criteria, and customer constraints • Translate customer requirements, capabilities narratives, and technical baselines into proposal-ready artifacts such as solution descriptions, features/benefits tables, compliance mappings, and discriminators • Create and refine reusable solution architectures, workflows, and patterns across multiple bids • Draft and refine technical and management volume content describing mission alignment, risk reduction, and measurable value • Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and related documents to identify requirements, risks, and opportunities using AI tools • Generate and refine solution concepts, narratives, and supporting materials • Develop and maintain repeatable prompt patterns and AI workflows • Curate AI-generated content for technical coherence, capture-strategy alignment, and compliance • Work with capture and proposal managers to align solution concepts with win themes, strengths, and discriminators • Support Pink, Red, and Gold team reviews by iterating solution narratives and artifacts • Collaborate with the Lead Solution Architect, capture managers, proposal managers, technical SMEs, engineering leads, operations managers, and program managers • Operate as a shared resource across multiple pursuits while balancing priorities • Advocate for safe and effective AI use in capture and proposal activities • Support AI pilots and internal experimentation, documenting lessons learned and recommended practices • Informally teach and coach capture/proposal team members on AI tools, prompt strategies, use cases, and limitations • Promote responsible, secure, and compliant AI use aligned with Amentum policies, customer requirements, and regulations • Report to the Lead Solution Architect within Amentum E&T • Support proposal surge periods and non-standard hours when needed to meet submission deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting DoW with direct exposure to government mission support environments • Strong understanding of DoW missions, operational contexts, and defense solution constructs such as systems integration, logistics and sustainment, training and simulation, and C5ISR • Familiarity with federal proposal structure, technical and management volumes, and evaluation criteria • Demonstrated proficiency using commercial AI products such as ChatGPT and Claude for analysis, drafting, solution exploration, and content refinement • Experience designing effective AI prompts and repeatable prompt patterns • Strong analytical skills for assimilating RFP requirements, technical baselines, and stakeholder input • Excellent written communication skills for formal, structured, customer-facing proposal content • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent pursuits • High attention to detail regarding compliance, consistency, and traceability from requirements to solution features • High school diploma or equivalent required • Must be a U.S. citizen • Eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required by assigned projects • Must support proposal timelines, including surge periods and non-standard hours when necessary • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required • Familiarity with enterprise-grade or secure AI platforms such as ChatGPT.gov and AwardedAI • Conceptual exposure to generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted analytics • Experience with structured capture/proposal processes such as Shipley-based methods, gated reviews, and color teams • Experience collaborating with technical SMEs, program managers, and business development professionals
