📋 Description

• Serve as the Global Category Lead for Business Intelligence, reporting to the Business Partner Lead, Business Intelligence & Market Access • Define partnership strategies, oversee business planning and governance, and unlock innovation and value realization across US & Global Marketing, including Global Customer Capabilities • Foster collaboration, enable enterprise-wide initiatives, and champion change to position Global Procurement as a strategic value driver • Deliver expert insights into market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and best practices • Translate market insights into actionable category strategies supporting business growth and go-to-market execution • Build strategic relationships across Global and US Marketing and Global Customer Capabilities • Design and implement business strategies aligned with category objectives • Partner with suppliers to co-create solutions and drive innovation • Provide category expertise for business development, operational efficiency, and high-value initiatives • Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to capture, quantify, and recognize value • Influence budgeting and P&L decisions • Drive adoption and integration of Procurement-led initiatives across collaborators, suppliers, end users, and partners • Implement Category Lead initiatives to align procurement performance with enterprise goals

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of business partnering, marketing, and/or related experience • Or Master’s degree and 4 years of business partnering, marketing, and/or related experience • Or Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of business partnering, marketing, and/or related experience • Or Associate’s degree and 10 years of business partnering, marketing, and/or related experience • Or High school diploma / GED and 12 years of business partnering, marketing, and/or related experience • Expertise in Commercialization Contracting frameworks and/or advanced Sourcing Excellence practices • Strong background in Business Intelligence Procurement within Biotech or Pharma • Deep understanding of regulatory and market dynamics in biotech or pharma • Strong analytical approach with expertise in performance measurement and value • Ability to lead, inspire, and align global, matrixed teams • Expertise in driving cross-functional initiatives and making strategic trade-offs • Exceptional change management skills • Competence in translating business objectives into actionable category strategies • Understanding of supplier-enabled innovation in commercial strategies • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
