📋 Description

• Participate in an approximately 12-week internship combining project-based and experiential learning • Lead initiatives, strategic analysis, and business case development across Operations functions • Contribute to delivering Amgen’s advanced technology assembly and packaging site in Ohio • Develop project charters mapping objectives, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables • Work cross-functionally to identify problems and measure the current state • Develop recommendations through qualitative and quantitative analysis • Present findings through intern-wide poster sessions and final readouts to executive management • Network with colleagues across the company • Participate in professional development, executive and social networking events, and community volunteer projects

🎯 Requirements

• 18 years or older • Graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university • Currently enrolled in an MBA, Master’s, PharmD, or Ph.D. program from an accredited college or university, with completion of the first year before the internship starts • Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment • Must not be employed at the time the internship starts • Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program • Previous internship or co-op experience • Degree concentration in Engineering, Life Science, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Applied Mathematics or Data Science, Finance, or Supply Chain • Ability to lead and deliver results in an interactive matrixed environment • Strong knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) • VBA for Excel and SQL knowledge • Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, leadership, organizational, project management, problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills • Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, and adaptability • Proven leadership experience on campus
