📋 Description

• Own a meaningful commercial project tied to a real business priority in Marketing, Value & Access, Sales, Patient Access & Reimbursement, or related commercial functions • Partner with brand teams and cross-functional stakeholders to build project expertise • Analyze business challenges, develop insights, and deliver clear recommendations to internal partners and leaders • Learn how Amgen makes decisions across customers, markets, products, and patient needs • Gain exposure to Global Markets & Policy leaders through networking, mentoring, and program experiences • Participate in development sessions, networking opportunities, and social activities • Present final recommendations and reflect on learning, growth, and potential fit for the full-time Commercial Leadership Program • Work with a project manager, executive mentor, CLP peer buddy, and the broader CLP community • Deliver project outcomes while demonstrating leadership potential, commercial thinking, learning agility, collaboration, communication, and readiness for future growth

🎯 Requirements

• Expected continued enrollment in an accredited college or university following the internship program • Must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship program • Must be available to work a full-time schedule • Enrolled in a full-time MBA program at an accredited college or university • Must complete the first year of the MBA before the internship starts • Must be available to accept and commit to future full-time employment by July 2028, if offered • 18 years or older • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university • Minimum three years of work experience (preferred) • Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or health care industry experience (preferred) • Sales and/or marketing experience (preferred) • International work experience (preferred) • Consulting experience (preferred) • Demonstrated leadership experience (preferred) • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of management • Ability to work effectively in a team-based, cross-functional environment • Ability to operate independently across functional lines and with internal and external customers and/or stakeholders • Proven problem-solving, analytical, quantitative, organizational, and project management skills • Ability to deliver results within aggressive timelines and amidst competing priorities • Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity • Receptivity to coaching and feedback from management and peers • Thoughtful cover letter explaining interest in CLP and alignment with Amgen’s mission and commercial leadership goals • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program
