📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain data-driven products and business applications • Build data products, business applications, automation tools, dashboards, reporting solutions, workflow management applications, and decision-support platforms • Develop scalable solutions using Python, SQL, cloud technologies, and modern software development frameworks • Design and deploy AI-enabled solutions, including LLM applications, RAG, intelligent document generation, information extraction, workflow assistance, knowledge management solutions, and decision-support copilots • Identify opportunities where AI can reduce manual effort and accelerate business outcomes • Develop and maintain data pipelines, APIs and integrations, backend services, ETL/ELT workflows, data quality monitoring solutions, and data processing frameworks • Ensure reliable, scalable, and secure delivery of enterprise data products • Integrate information across clinical operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and enterprise operational platforms • Evaluate emerging technologies including generative AI, agentic AI, modern analytics platforms, cloud-native architectures, automation technologies, data engineering tools, and enterprise application frameworks • Build user-facing applications using Streamlit, Dash, React, and other modern web and visualization frameworks • Improve organizational efficiency through process automation, workflow standardization, self-service analytics, and improved data accessibility • Support the full lifecycle of analytical and AI solutions from requirements gathering through architecture, development, testing, deployment, documentation, sustainment, and support • Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, data engineering teams, enterprise architects, digital technology teams, and subject matter experts • Translate business challenges into practical technical solutions aligned with enterprise strategies and standards • Communicate business value, solution architecture, technical tradeoffs, AI capabilities and limitations, project progress, recommendations, and next steps

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 2 years of Data Scientist experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Data Scientist experience OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of Data Scientist experience OR high school diploma/GED and 10 years of Data Scientist experience • Strong Python development experience for applications, automation, AI, and analytics • Advanced SQL and large-scale data processing experience • Experience developing Generative AI and LLM-based applications • Passion for applying AI, analytics, automation, and software engineering to solve business problems • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Ability to rapidly prototype and deploy business solutions • Experience balancing technical decisions with business priorities • Experience with Databricks, AWS, and cloud-native architectures • Experience with data pipelines, workflow orchestration, and data quality monitoring • Preferred: experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, or other regulated environments • Preferred: experience with RAG, agentic AI, and knowledge-driven systems • Preferred: experience building business applications using modern web frameworks • Preferred: experience developing APIs, integrations, and backend services • Preferred: experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms • Preferred: knowledge of Git, CI/CD, testing, and software engineering best practices • Preferred: experience integrating enterprise systems such as SAP, manufacturing, quality, clinical, or supply chain platforms
