📋 Description

• Leverage tech-transfer and process-modeling domain knowledge to drive implementation of digital technologies • Own digital products for tech-transfer applications, initially focused on expanding digital process-modeling for the drug-substance network • Lead change management to integrate tech-transfer digital applications into product teams • Develop data products to enable FAIR data for tech transfer and NPI • Enable AI Agentic workflows for drug-substance technology modeling assets • Collaborate with digital product teams to build and integrate modeling assets into business processes • Work cross-functionally with scientists, engineers, and varied teams • Identify process design improvement opportunities for Amgen products • Make business recommendations using cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, and scenario analysis • Present findings effectively to stakeholders at varied levels • Contribute recommendations to data science strategy, including process monitoring, data engineering, analytic platforms, and analysis plans • Evaluate and improve Amgen’s digital assets • Develop modeling, data pipelines, and visualizations for drug-substance development, technology transfer, and manufacturing • Determine, define, and track performance improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 2 years of Data Science or Engineering experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Data Science or Engineering experience OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of Data Science or Engineering experience OR High School diploma or GED and 10 years of Data Science or Engineering experience • MS degree or doctorate in an engineering or scientific field with demonstrated capability in application of data science preferred • Chemical Engineering modeling, drug-substance, and tech-transfer experience • 3+ years of work experience in a biotechnology role preferred • Experience with AGILE software development methodologies • Experience with Databricks • Experience with Python and SQL • Experience with AI tools such as Chat GPT, Codex, and GenieCode • Experience with React • Experience with BI tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, or Power BI • Experience developing AI applications for process development workflows and integrating AI solutions into process development business processes • Experience with process modeling for cell-culture, harvest, and purification scale-up • Demonstrated performance applying digital tools to solve analytical problems • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated leadership and self-direction • Demonstrated willingness to teach others and learn new techniques • Ability to manage team members and deliverables
