📋 Description

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals • Serve as the primary customer contact and implement marketing strategy and product promotion as led by the District Manager • Achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages and conducting planned programs • Schedule and follow up on medical educational programs • Achieve or exceed sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement • Develop and manage account relationships based on customer needs • Ensure product access and resolve or triage reimbursement issues • Maintain product contracts • Provide feedback on marketing strategy and analyze sales activity and territory performance • Develop territory plans with the District Manager • Share best practices and continuously learn and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative • Build the brand throughout the sales cycle while keeping patient impact at the forefront • Uphold Amgen values, ethics, quality, teamwork, collaboration, communication, and accountability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related; OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related; OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related • Three or more years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry preferred • Product or hospital sales experience in relevant therapeutic specialties preferred • Local market knowledge preferred • Established relationships in the territory preferred • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration preferred • Adaptability with core competencies including planning and organizing, business/industry/technical knowledge, communicating with impact, driving for results, and cultivating relationships • Relocation is not offered for this role • Sponsorship for this role is not guaranteed
