📋 Description

• Partner with Amgen’s finance leaders and experience its mission-driven culture • Work 20 hours per week with an accounting/finance team for the duration of the program • Complete multiple meaningful projects tied directly to strategic and tactical goals • Develop technical and financial skills through challenging projects • Build a strong foundation in corporate finance and accounting • Learn systems and technology tools • Work with multiple managers • Gain experience in the biotechnology industry • Collaborate with fellow interns in a week-long multidisciplinary case study competition • Attend weekly lunches with Amgen executives and engage with leadership • Network with colleagues across the company • Participate in executive and social networking events and community volunteer projects

🎯 Requirements

• Expected completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university before the internship begins • Expected continued enrollment in an accredited college or university following the internship • Must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship • Must be available to work a part-time schedule • Must be available to accept and commit to future full-time employment by July 2028, if offered • 18 years or older • Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program from an accredited college or university • Minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent • Concentration in Economics, Business Administration, Biotechnology Management, Accounting or Finance preferred • Understanding of basic financial analytical principles • Effective communication and organizational skills • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Strong team mentality and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues on complex assignments • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of this program • Sponsorship for future FTE roles is not guaranteed
