📋 Description

• Source and secure GPU capacity worldwide across neoclouds, hyperscalers, colocation operators, data centers, and emerging providers • Build the capacity pipeline before demand appears and maintain a live view of available capacity • Own supplier and ecosystem relationships across operators, OEMs, integrators, and chip vendors including NVIDIA • Manage allocation conversations and roadmap access • Evaluate hardware, rack and node configurations, interconnects, storage, power density, cooling, and network topology • Negotiate GPU-hour rates, capacity commitments, deposits, payment timing, SLAs, and remedies • Direct up to billions of dollars in compute spend • Travel to sites, verify power, cooling, deployment readiness, and operator competence, and make go/no-go recommendations • Track compute pricing by GPU generation, region, and contract term • Develop and defend a thesis about compute-market trends and translate it into sourcing decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Deep understanding of GPUs, racks, interconnect, power, and cooling • Ability to independently evaluate cluster configurations and workload suitability • Experience sourcing scarce, expensive capacity or hardware • Strong negotiation track record with significant spend responsibility • Close following of compute pricing and ability to form independent market views • Willingness to travel regularly, internationally, and often on short notice • Comfort with unit economics, TCO, and contract structures • Ability to build processes in a lean, high-trust environment with autonomy • Neocloud or hyperscaler capacity experience may be advantageous • NVIDIA or OEM allocation relationships may be advantageous • Data center operations background may be advantageous • Commodity or energy market experience may be advantageous
