📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to extract complex business requirements • Translate vague business needs into detailed, technical data specifications • Define measurable KPIs aligned with business goals • Document data dictionaries, metric definitions, and source-to-target mappings • Design interactive dashboards in Power BI and QuickSight • Build data models, calculated measures, and row-level security features • Optimize dashboard performance for fast end-user load times • Migrate or replicate reports across AWS and Azure environments when necessary • Validate data accuracy and consistency across published reports • Document dashboard metadata, metric definitions, and data lineage in Atlan • Train business users to navigate dashboards and interpret data insights • Partner with data engineers to optimize underlying data structures and pipelines

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role • Proven track record of leading requirement-gathering workshops with executives • Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and Power BI premium capacity management • Deep expertise in AWS QuickSight, SPICE ingestion, calculated fields, and AWS ecosystems • Strong ability to write complex SQL queries, joins, and aggregations for data validation • Solid understanding of star schemas, snowflake schemas, and normalization • Exceptional ability to dissect vague requests into structured logic • Clear verbal and written skills to explain data to non-technical peers • Obsessive focus on data accuracy and formatting consistency • Certifications in AWS or Microsoft, such as AWS Certified Data Analytics or PL-300, preferred • Experience with Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery preferred
