📋 Description

• Own the order-to-cash process from order creation through invoicing, collections, and cash application • Own revenue recognition under ASC 606, including monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting • Support and maintain technical accounting memos and schedules for ASC 606, ASC 340-40, ASC 350-40, and ASC 842 • Lead new billing and revenue system implementations, driving accounting requirements and stakeholder alignment • Create and deploy automation workflows across invoicing and collections • Partner with Deal Desk and Product on new SKU launches and system/process readiness • Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities, including revenue reconciliations, sales tax reporting, and technical accounting • Support the annual financial audit by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests • Manage collections, oversee dunning processes, monitor AR aging, and conduct outreach to customers with past-due accounts • Partner with Finance leadership, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Product, and Engineering to modernize billing, collection, and reporting processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including billing, accounts receivable, and revenue accounting at a high-growth SaaS company • Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles • Experience building and utilizing automations for process improvement • Track record of building accounting processes and systems • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable owning longer-term projects alongside day-to-day tasks • Strong collaboration skills and experience partnering with cross-functional teams • Experience with NetSuite and modern billing and collections systems • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for reconciliations and analysis • CPA or actively pursuing CPA licensure is nice to have • Public Accounting experience is nice to have • Exposure to technical accounting topics such as capitalized commissions, internal-use software, or lease accounting (ASC 842) is nice to have • Experience supporting a financial statement audit is nice to have
