• Support AQST therapeutic areas, programs, and approved products as a field-based medical expert • Advance scientific and medical relationships with key healthcare community members • Educate external and internal stakeholders on safe and appropriate product use • Generate and apply scientific and medical knowledge to advance company projects • Report to the Field Director of Medical Affairs and operate independently from Commercial • Develop and maintain scientific and medical knowledge in assigned therapeutic areas and disease states • Identify, develop, and manage KOL relationships across academic and community settings • Interpret and disseminate balanced, factual scientific, clinical, and health economic data • Lead identification, cultivation, and integration of KOL contributions and insights • Identify opportunities for medical contributions supporting or expanding programs and therapies • Gather and evaluate new information related to AQST products and therapeutic interests • Deliver project support according to established objectives • Provide support for unsolicited medical information requests • Support CME programs and investigator-initiated research efforts • Manage relationships with priority KOLs across the defined Mid-Atlantic geographic territory
• Doctoral level degree in a medical and/or scientific field required (PharmD, PhD, MD/DO, DNP, or equivalent) • A degree in a relevant medical and/or scientific field with strong related experience may be considered • Minimum of 3–5 years in a relevant pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry role or in healthcare required • Experience in allergy/immunology highly desired • Pediatric experience helpful • Ability to travel 60% of time, including overnights and weekends as necessary • Solid interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships • Ability to organize, prioritize, work effectively, and operate independently in a dynamic field-based environment • Strong presentation and writing skills • Results-oriented and self-motivated • Final candidate must complete a drug test and background check before employment begins • Must comply with the company’s drug-free workplace policy
